Why Jesus Must Come Back (Part 3)

Jesus coming againTitus 2:11-14 reads, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

Daniel Whyte IIIIn light of the great controversy over a recently released book by a famous pastor by the name of Rob Bell, titled Love Wins, where he attempts to redefine the doctrine of Hell, I thought this would be the perfect time to share a Biblical message regarding Hell, titled "Hell, Do We Really believe It?"

This is a day of shame in America because our president has just signed a bill that allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military. Unfortunately and sadly, this is just another major step towards the homosexualization of America and towards the ultimate destruction of God's original plan for marriage between a man and a woman. It is also an embarrassing day for Black America, and for black men, in particular.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how the President apparently does not have the wisdom to understand the connection between the serious, unprecedented, uncontrollable events that frustrate him and his administration and thwart his plans and his weird determination to cram the homosexual lifestyle and homosexual marriage down the throats of Americans when most clearly do not want that.
gwen-richardwen.jpgOver the past two months, I have waded into the national debate regarding gay marriage by writing two widely distributed editorials. These op-eds largely addressed the false comparison between African-American oppression and the push for gay rights. I am neither a member of a pro-family organization nor an official advocate for traditional marriage.
tavis-smiley-1.jpgSome black folk ought to be sent "straight to DVD" for the disrespect they showed to Tavis Smiley during the election, simply because, as a black man, he would not get on the Obama bandwagon, hook, line, and sinker. Now, I know that Tavis can come off sometimes as the "king of black folk" and I personally don't agree with Tavis on several key issues. And I know it is none of my business, but I am a little concerned that he is not married yet. But I digress. However, with all that aside, "America cannot be America" if a black person cannot disagree with another black person without being kicked out of the "Black America Club".

"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." (1 Timothy 2:1-2 NIV)

It's official. Barack Obama is the new President of the United States. All of the excitement, angst, and exhaustion of the presidential race is behind us, and we are on the threshold of four years under a new national leader.
Latin America's string of successful elections from late 2005 to early 2007, accompanied by the greatest region-wide economic boom in decades, instilled justifiable feelings of pride and optimism about the state of democracy in the region.
earl-ofari-hutchinson-2.jpgPresident-elect Barack Obama almost certainly knew that he'd take some heavy flack from gay rights and abortion rights groups for picking mega preacher Rick Warren to give his inaugural invocation. Warren backed the anti gay marriage Prop 8 in California to the hilt and rails against abortion.

earl-ofari-hutchinson-2.jpgTop Obama economic advisor Lawrence Summer is the consummate Wall Street, and yes another Clinton insider. His resume reads like a mini telephone book on the list of posts he's held in and out of every financial and government monetary agency imaginable.
